Our work needs your support, and we’ve made it easy for you to help us!
As a Charity, we are supported by many wonderful people, who volunteer their time and expertise to keep things running and always moving forward, but the help we can offer depends upon the donations we receive.
We’d like to let you know that we’re doing all we can to ensure that the maximum possible amount of the donations we receive actually goes towards our work, and we’ve put a number of things in place to ensure this.
We’ll soon have a ‘Donate’ button which will go directly to our PayPal account, which will also have official Charity status, so they deduct the minimum in charges and fees from all the donations made (only 20p and 1.4% of all funds donated), we will be registered with HMRC (Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs) as a Charity and we’re in the process of finalising our Gift Aid status with them, and we have a ‘JustGiving’ account, which (as soon as the Gift Aid status is in place) will top-up all the monies raised on their fund-raising and ‘crowd-funding’ pages with Gift Aid contibutions from the government.
All this means that however much or little you can donate to us, we’ll have made the most of it, and will do our best to make it work!
eBay Charity Donations
Did you know that you can donate between 10% and 100% of the amount you win in your eBay auctions to a charity? Brilliant, isn’t it?! All you have to do is add us as a ‘Favourite Charity’, which you can do by clicking on this link, and hitting the button, ‘Save as Favourite’.
This simple process will really help us, and we’d be most grateful for your support!
Please Note: It’s better to set up a “Fund-Raising” page than a “Crowd-Funding” page, because “Fund-Raising” pages are automatically processed for Gift-Aid, which directly benefits us immediately – this doesn’t happen with “Crowd-Funding” pages, because Gift Aid can’t be collected from them.
Volunteer Your Time!
If you’d like to help us and have a few minutes to spare, we have a brilliantly simple scheme that really helps!
